Alrihkh The Stickmen beat a path off the beaten path, as if disciples of the maxim on my Bandcamp pic. Many of the tracks seem to lurch along erratically, jazzy and discombobulated; but despite the seeming randomness the music lumbers on with dogged intent and purpose as if some multitasking mechanical prototype still unsure of it’s prodigious limbs. This ‘orderly form’ of OCD, that seems to demand an escalating amount of expressive twitches from the players, is oddly audibly addictive. 9/10. Favorite track: Time's Insane Ashes (from "Absalom").

The Stick Men are releasing a free digital download companion album to the limited edition promotional CD "KOLLEKTED" (Blue), which is currently available exclusively at King Crimson concerts. For this download version we've assembled some other favorites under the name "KONNEKTED" (Red), and included are also some rather odd tracks from the catalogue.
